Surgery
I perform all of my surgeries in a private out-patient plastic surgical facility that meets the highest safety standards and QuadA certification.
I work every day with the same board-certified anesthesiologists who specialize in sedation anesthesia. While everyone heals differently and has different tolerances for discomfort, below are some general expectations for recovery:
Facelift and Necklift
Typically moderate swelling and bruising, mild pain for several days, and no drains. One of my private duty nurses is required for 48 hours. These nurses are highly trained in monitoring and assisting with your rapid recovery. Most out-of-town patients remain in New York for 7-14 days after surgery. Sutures are removed in a week. Recovery is approximately 2 weeks and once healed, scars are almost invisible. Facelift surgery is often combined with eyelid surgery, brow lifts, and skin rejuvenation lasers.
Nose (Rhinoplasty)
Mild bruising and swelling, minimal pain, and no nasal packing. Nasal splints and sutures are removed in a week. Every patient is different; therefore, I do not perform the same rhinoplasty operation on every patient. A good result should look like the nose you were born with.
Eyelids (Blepharoplasty)
Mild bruising and swelling with minimal pain. Sutures are removed in a week. Once healed, nearly invisible scars, while the shape and expression of the eyes remain the same.
Browlift
Mild bruising and swelling with minimal discomfort. No drains are used and once healed scars become imperceptible. Sutures are typically removed in a week. Lifting the brows subtlety can open the eyes without an over-operated, surprised look.
