Dr. Marc Zimbler is recognized in New York as an expert in the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Zimbler is one of a handful of surgeons who is double-board certified in both Facial Plastic Surgery & Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, making him a true expert in facial cosmetic surgery.  Limiting his practice to only the face, Dr. Zimbler specializes in facelift surgery, rhinoplasty, cosmetic eyelid surgery, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.  Dr. Zimbler is also recognized as one of New York’s top Mohs reconstructive surgeons and is nationally recognized as an expert in Mohs skin cancer reconstruction.

A native of Manhattan, Dr. Zimbler attended private school on the Upper East Side. He received his bachelor’s degree, Summa cum Laude, from New York University where he majored in art history and philosophy, and played varsity tennis. At the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, he graduated in the top of his class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Zimbler received a scholarship in medical ethics and studied at Oxford University in England. He completed his surgical training at NYU Medical Center and was hand picked for one of the most prestigious Facial Plastic Surgery Fellowships in the nation.

At Beth Israel Medical Center’s Cancer Institute, Dr. Zimbler is the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is also the Director of Residency Education and Training for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Zimbler is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. In 2004 he was honored by the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and was named Chairman of the New Face of Giving program. Through his dedication, this landmark program had unprecedented success in raising funds for research and education in the field of facial reconstructive surgery.
